Welcome to The Priory, where every child is known, valued, and inspired to thrive…

At The Priory, we believe that education is about much more than excellent results— it is about nurturing the whole child. We are a preparatory school where kindness, respect, and curiosity are as valued as academic success. Every child is unique, and it is our privilege to help them discover their strengths, grow in confidence, and thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

Our British curriculum, enriched with Nigerian traditions, gives pupils a broad and balanced education. Specialist teaching in subjects such as music, French, sport,
computing, and art ensures that every child is stretched and inspired. Beyond the classroom, our after-school activities provide opportunities for children to explore new interests, strengthen friendships, and develop resilience.

Wellbeing is at the heart of all we do. With small class sizes and caring staff, we
ensure that each child is truly known as an individual. Our teachers are not only
dedicated to high standards of learning, but also to creating nurturing relationships
that support children’s social, emotional, and academic development. We believe
that when children feel safe, valued, and happy, they are empowered to achieve their
very best.

Wellbeing is at the heart of all we do.

Our House system builds community across the school, encouraging leadership,
teamwork, and healthy competition. From music and dance to chess and sport, our
clubs and teams celebrate the wide range of talents our pupils bring. Older students
are also well-prepared for the challenges of secondary school, with a strong track
record of success both here in Nigeria and abroad.

At The Priory, we educate for life. Our children leave us with excellent skills and
knowledge, but also with empathy, independence, and a sense of responsibility for
the world around them.

I warmly invite you to visit us, to experience our joyful learning environment, and to
see firsthand what makes The Priory such a special place for children to grow.
